There are a huge number of charities you can donate to, for lots of different causes.  You don't just have to donate money, you can also donate clothes, food, toys, and more. 

You can also donate your time, by volunteering.  Whether it's at a local food shelter, or with an international organization, there are lots of ways to get involved and make a difference today.

Signing petitions doesn't just mean going to-to-door collecting signatures anymore (although you can still do that).  There are now options to add your voice to an online petition along with others and use your voice to support a cause. 

One of the best ways to make a difference is to vote.  Whether it's in a local election or choosing the next president, your vote counts.  Use your voice by voting for a candidate who represents your values.
